Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Local Sales Manager.
About the Position:
The Local Sales Manager supervises the daily sales activities of the local and regional sales team at CPR to maximize sponsorship revenue for us from companies and organizations within the state of Colorado. This position provides local sales expertise, including production, billing, research and copy compliance. Working with the Corporate Support Director, the Manager assigns individual annual revenue and pacing goals to each member of the team and ensures that they are met. The Manager also reviews sales activities, monitors the progress toward larger goals and provides support as needed. Internally, the Local Sales Manager will frequently partner with production, content and planning and finance to ensure smooth workflow for sponsorship messages from creation to air date.
This role requires travel up to 10% of the time to CPRs regional offices in Colorado Springs and Grand Junction (which equates to about 4x per year - 2x to GJ and 2x to CS).
This job is not a remote position and the new hire is expected to reside in Colorado.
