Job Summary: Metronets Channel Support Advocate will assist the Channel Sales Team and our network of Channel Partners across the Metronet service area in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results. In support of MetroNets Pillars, this role must maintain long-term affiliations with all appropriate customer contacts to deliver a VIP level of customer care.
What you will be doing:
Enter prospective customer data and update agent quoting in the MasterStream portal. Act as the Mastersream Administrator for the team.
Provide supplemental quoting as needed for Channel Managers while they are out on customer appointments.
Interface with internal Engineering groups for pre-sale support processes
Administer commission dispute tracking for our agents
What you will be doing:
Agent service agreement generation
Agent performance tracking
,li>Ensures agent accounts payable data is properly documented internally to make certain our partners are paid in a timely manner for services rendered
Coordinate Utility Access Agreements for our Channel Managers and Agents with end-users
Assists Channel Managers with presentation and proposal creation
Supports Channel Sales Team with agent onboarding including establishing access to internal support tools, initial document distribution, and virtual Agent Portal training
Aids Channel Managers with SalesForce tools including but not limited to creating accounts, opportunities, quotes, contracts, and reporting/ dashboard needs.
Maintain and frequently update all areas of the Metronet Agent Portal including but not limited to all documentation regarding promos, SPIFFs, KMZs, Building Lists, etc.
Update Metronet sales and marketing information in the external partner ecosystems of the Technology Solutions Brokerage organizations that we partner with
Develop strong customer relationships and serve in the role of Metronet's trusted partner
Coordinate regular outreach to the current agent base to promote upcoming training programs as theyre scheduled
Continually review and evolve processes used to track, oversee, and organize customer interactions
Document lessons learned and implement improved best practices
Other duties as assigned
What You Need For This Position:
Bachelors degree or equivalent from four-year College, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Proven work experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt to change
Telecommunications Experience is a plus
Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
