The Sales Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Sales Assistant include providing support to our Business Sales Manager and Account Executives include; assisting in daily office needs and managing the Teams general administrative activities. Additionally, to communicate & coordinate with the Corporate Business Sales Administrator for various Salesforce duties and other initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Attend weekly Team meetings provide updates as needed.
Training of new Account Executive hires on SalesForce, SharePoint, & QManager,
Attend weekly Administrative Meetings
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Develop and maintain a filing system for sales reports
Update and maintain office policies and procedures
Order collateral & marketing material for Account Executives & Managers
Add Hot Deals monthly or quarterly to assigned markets thru the Chamber of Commerce
Tier 1 Support for SalesForce
Order office supplies
Liaison with current Corporate Business Sales Administrator to handle requests and queries from Vice President of Sales and other Senior MetroNet Management
Research & distribution of leads
Assist with proposal development on major presentations by Large Business AE.
Travel for Quarterly Team Meetings & compile Presentation with graphs
Backup to other assistants for distribution of leads
Other duties as required
What You Need For This Position:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Familiarity with Salesforce would be a plus
High School degree: additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
