Job Summary: The Regional Sales Director will partner with the VP of Business Sales to focus on maximizing the revenue opportunity by deploying approved MetroNet sales strategies & tactics for all existing and new launch markets, in their assigned geographic territory.
What you will be doing: The main duty of the Regional Sales Director is to help the existing sales operations to maximize the revenue opportunity, which when successful, will drive New Business and Market/LCP Penetration by focusing on the following:
Plans direct and controls sales management and field sales force, ensuring company-approved sales strategies & tactics are properly communicated and carried out.
Partner with VP of Business Sales during the annual Business Budget Process
Partner with assigned Sales Managers to ensure we recruit experienced and or qualified Sales & Sales Support personnel, at the budgeted headcount
Partner with the VP of Business Sales to be responsible for the formulation and implementation of sales policies
Serves as a conduit of information between the field sales organization and the Executive VP and VP of Business Sales and other Corporate Team members.
Ensure the Sales Managers in the assigned territory accurately report monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
Ensure the Sales Managers conduct weekly AE IBM meetings documented in Salesforce
Ensure the Sales Managers are deploying approved Sales Strategies and tactics
Identify and communicate with Leadership all smart build and other market expansion opportunities
Ensure all sales operations are following the Rules of Engagement and Account List Management policies
Ensure Salesforce maintenance is up to date and a priority
Assessment of new store and strategic opportunities
Facilitate the exchange of ideas with the Sales Managers to ensure the Best Business Sales Strategies and Tactics are deployed
Ensure that the Sales Managers are deploying the approved Sales Tactics for all products
Directly and through subordinates, develops a sales plan that will result in the attainment of market sales goals and gross operating profit.
Partner with the VP of Business Sales to be responsible for the formulation and implementation of sales policies
Monitors and evaluates SMB Sales and Inside Sales Team sales performance
Ensure that the SMB & GEM Sales Team work together in partnership with the GEM Regional Sales Manager to maximize all Government, Education, Medical and Large Manufacturing opportunities
Serves as a conduit of information between the field sales organization and the Executive VP and VP of Business Sales and other Corporate Team members.
Direct the sales training function, including seminar composition, material creation and implementation.
Directly and through subordinates, ensures compliance with all established company policies, and use Associate Resources, as necessary.
Directly and through subordinates, develops a sales plan that will result in the attainment of market sales goals and gross operating profit.
Ensure that the SMB & GEM Sales Team work together in partnership with the GEM Sales Manager to maximize all Government, Education, Medical and Large Manufacturing opportunities
Direct the sales training function, including seminar composition, material creation and implementation.
What You Need For This Position:
A minimum of 5 years of successful sales management experience is required in the telecommunications sales and or media sales industry.
Must have a proven sales experience/accomplishments and a demonstrated track-record of supervising people and large/complex projects.
College degree desired but not required in lieu of applicable experience
Valid drivers license
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and Salesforce is a plus.
