    Job Summary: The Advertising Coordinator will be responsible for implementing advertising schedules with MetroNet’s agency, identifying the resources to deliver the advertising elements, managing deadlines for advertising vendors, and ensure branding and promotions are up-to-date and communicated with appropriate teams. The position is also responsible for vetting sponsorship and advertising requests and reporting of advertising performance.

    What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate advertising and promotional campaigns for social media, display, SEM, and direct mail and track performance results
  • Work cross functionally with different teams to identify and collect the resources and information for advertising campaigns and sponsorship requests
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Marketing team, and other departments, to plan and execute special initiatives and projects, including new market launch plans and Student Rush
  • Ensure brand and messaging are cohesive across all media types
  • Maintain weekly/monthly potential customer, zip codes and suppression lists for target markets
  • Update website SEO on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Establish professional relationships with outside production vendors and agencies to support advertising activities
  • Research pricing options and vendors for outsourced project elements
  • Assist in testing new Marketing platforms and products
  • Research competitor branding and promotions
  • Some moderate travel may be required
  • Must be self-sufficient and able to work on their own for extended periods of time with minimal senior management direction

    What You Need For This Position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing or communications
  • 1+ years experience in Marketing or Project Management preferred
  • Great fit will be a junior level marketing, product/project management experience or advertising agency experience
  • Experience with CMS/CRM platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly personable and self-motivated
  • Highly organized
  • Thrives in a goal-oriented environment
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines for production and advertising
  • Naturally model respect for others by listening well, encouraging others, and promptly returning phone calls/e-mails
  • Ability to keep commitments to customers, suppliers, and other team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
