    Job Summary: The Retail Sales Associate provides quality sales, service and superior attention to the needs of MetroNet customers.

    What you will be doing:

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas in an accountability-based culture.
  • Provide strong understanding and enthusiasm around technology, especially around MetroNet products and services. Maintain detailed sales product knowledge, including competitive information.
  • Provide superior product knowledge and sales acumen in all customer interactions. Evaluate customers’ potential product needs and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Utilize upsell techniques to proactively offer customers with 1 GIG and ancillary services such as Static IP, WiFi extenders and any new add-on services available for sale.
  • Be accountable for sales volume, sales close %, multi-product sales (bundles) and other KPI’s as defined by management.
  • Stay abreast of new policies, procedures, systems, customer promotions and technology that will facilitate achievement of sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Inform management about competitive threats and new plans/programs that might impact sales.
  • Also provide regular feedback on MetroNet policies and sales promotions.
  • Utilize retention techniques, when needed, to proactively retain existing customers from canceling service.
  • Work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    What You Need For This Position:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Sales and customer service experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to showcase your
  • Customer Service, Initiative and Problem Solving competencies
