Locally owned, friendly, fun atmosphereWe are looking for a responsible Sales Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, sales and clerical tasks. Duties of the Sales Assistant include providing support to our Director of Channel Sales and our authorized agent community; assisting in daily sales needs and managing general administrative activities. Additionally, to communicate & coordinate with the Corporate Business Sales Administrator for various Salesforce duties and other initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Work with authorized agents to develop quotes, service agreements and to be a general point of contact to assist in business development opportunities
Work closely with Sales Engineering, Product Development & Management, Marketing, Salesforce, BOP and BCS, and other necessary MetroNet departments on all information needed for the Agents sales opportunity
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Maintain the Agent Commission Report & coordinate with current Sales Administrator
Develop and maintain a filing system for sales reports
Work with Business Sales team to develop a formal agent on-boarding process
Assist with training of new agents on organizational value proposition.
Help maintain contact lists of prospective agents in Salesforce and develop practices for maintaining regular contact with our agent community
Liaison with current Corporate Business Sales Administrator to handle requests and queries from Vice President of Sales and other Senior MetroNet Management
Act as liaison between Agent sales and the BOP on needed paperwork and information
Assist with overall sales channel business development efforts
Assist with proposal development on presentations to prospective agents
Other duties as required
What You Need For This Position:
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a dynamic team environment
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Prefer a candidate with a background in the telecommunications industry that has familiarity with common service offerings
Must have a positive attitude and be able to adapt to change
Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, customer service representative or office admin assistant
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Familiarity with Salesforce would be a plus
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
