Salem Media Group Los Angeles is looking for a dynamic Account Executive/Media Strategist to join our Broadcast Sales and Media Advertising team. You will be selling local advertising solutions for our innovative stations and digital platforms. Our offices are located in Glendale, CA.
Prospect for qualified local and regional businesses; conduct thorough customer needs analyses (CNA); present and close appropriate marketing solution programs. These programs may include any of Salem Medias assets for clients: broadcast and online radio, digital products such as display, streaming, loyalty programs, e-commerce, audience extension, events and digital marketing services.
Create new relationships with local and regional businesses in our area
Work with local and corporate marketing teams to develop campaign support materials
Responsible to accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines and overachieve annual budgets
Follow accountabilities set forth by your Sales Manager to help guide you to success achieving monthly sales quotas consistently
Provide insight and value to executive management to shape the future of our organization
Account Executive Qualifications / Skills:
Strong Prospecting, Presentation, and Negotiation Skills
Ability to Cultivate and Maintain Client Relationships
Able to Work Independently while Remaining Team Oriented
Goal Oriented with a Strong Work Ethic and Desire to Learn
Previous Sales Experience Required Emphasis on a History of Success with Customers and Proven Ability to Develop and Grow Revenue
Knowledge and Experience with Broadcast and Digital Media
The Successful Candidate will be Sharp, Creative, Curious, Tenacious, Entrepreneurial, Independent, Passionate and Enthusiastic
Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills
Broadcast Media Industry Experience Preferred, but not Required
At Least Two (2) Years of Outside Sales Experience Required
