The General Sales Manager is responsible for the revenue goals of the television station. All areas of broadcast time and revenue are under his/her supervision (Local, Regional, Digital and Internet revenue). The General Sales Manager oversees the Local Sales Manager, the sales staff and sales assistants. The GSM will be responsible for helping Account Executives implement the companys advertising platforms and marketing strategy, identifying and qualifying leads while consistently closing business in order to meet or exceed their sales quota.
