Byrne Acquisition Group is looking for a qualified candidate to provide leadership and be responsible for the revenue and profitability of a very successful seven-station group in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and Southside Virginia.
The successful candidate is expected to maximize revenues, control expenses, determine appropriate staffing and ensure compliance with Federal Communications Commission(FCC) regulations and guidelines.
Proficiency is expected in sales of local direct business, sales of regional and ad agency business, preparation of sales and programming promotions, use of social media, sales materials and sales/NTR events.
The Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and Southside Virginia General Manager sets the management tone with ultimate responsibility for performance and accountability of all personnel in the seven-station group.
The successful candidate must have successful radio management leadership experience. A bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred. Previous responsibility must demonstrate both personal and team radio sales success, the ability to find and train staff, and inspire and build teams.
