CPB is currently seeking to hire a SVP, Television Content reporting to EVP/Chief Operating Officer.
General Description: Leads CPB’s Television Department, overseeing investments in video content and distribution. Develops a vision and strategy for CPB’s investments that leverages linear television and existing and emerging digital platforms to maximize the impact of CPB’s funding and achieve CPB’s corporate goals and objectives. Collaborates with other SVPs to develop multi-platform content, distirbution and innovation initiatives. Effectively represents CPB’s interests to, and manages relationships with, national organizations such as PBS, producers, and the station community. Develops departmental goals and operating plans, manages financial resources, and effectively leads department to achieve its objectives.
