A leader in Broadcasting has an excellent opportunity in Sales Management for a Director of Sales. This position is in a Top 40 Market and will oversee multi-stations to include a major national affiliate.
The ideal candidate will have a passion and understanding to lead his/her team to build strong business growth and customers relationships. In this role you will also help guide our local and national sales efforts. We are seeking a team building communicator with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in TV sales management. The candidate should have existing management experience and exceptional leadership qualities. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated experience in growing accounts, including a solid understanding of the internal and external nuances to achieve success. This individual will be committed to developing new direct business and establishing a consistent revenue stream from our digital platforms. Proven success and examples in strategic selling on transactional business as well as new direct business required. A solid understanding of inventory management is a must.
Additional responsibilities will include exceeding revenue goals, forecasting, inventory control and pricing, sales promotion, development of non-traditional revenue sources, as well as new media and strategic planning. Excellent inventory management is essential, and familiarity with OSI a plus!
