Account Executive Sales Associate Position for Local Television Station

Broadcasting locally and streaming world-wide, the Destination Network, Beach TV, is a visitor information television station and multi-platform network serving unique beach, island and historic destinations in Americaís most beautiful southeastern statesÖ Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina. We are looking to fill a rare Sales Executive vacancy in our Destin Market as well as our Pensacola/Orange Beach Market.

Weíre searching for a very motivated, results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. The perfect candidate would have a minimum two year track record in an Executive Sales Position, have their finger on the pulse of the market and be ready to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/marketís potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential of new business.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends and growth in the area
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Familiar with all Social Media platforms

    Requirements

  • Proven two year work experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent Software and Computer skills
  • Highly productive and constantly building professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
