The Research Director will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the workflow for every content research project including costs and budgeting, analysis, presentation of results, and strategic planning for all CMG Jacksonville properties. This position will also have direct report responsibilities for all Advertising Research projects. This position involves managing multiple projects and staff under hard deadlines and also requires being able to analyze survey data, present and explain the findings verbally to internal and external clients.
Responsible for managing and providing updates to General Manager: priorities, deadlines and workflow for every content and advertising project including but not limited to:
Serving as a key member on the strategic team
Project costs and methodologies
Questionnaire design and creation
Advertiser Client and station interaction throughout the lifecycle of a study/survey
Station/Property interaction throughout the lifecycle of a study/survey
Station/property management and relations
Data analysis and key points creation
Produce research study PowerPoint presentations as needed
Serve as back-up for analyst duties as needed
Presenting the data analysis ďstoryĒ and recommendations with follow up to strategic action plans for each strategic study conductedDirect report responsibilities, relations and goals management for all Content and/or Sales Research Analysts
Qualifications:5 years experience managing all aspects of Market Research projects, including:
Knowledge of quantitative phone room operations and procedures
Knowledge of Internet Panel creation, management and execution
Sample and quota management
Quality control procedures
Must have media industry experience
An expert with qualitative and quantitative questionnaire design
Proven experience with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
Expert level and ability to use cross-tabulation software and data to create an easy to understand presentation with analysis and synopsis of what the data means
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven experience with research/survey project management and all steps involved in the process
Proven ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple research projects with a team of analysts
Under graduate degree or equivalent experience required
